At Sour Tech College Station, we offer a wide variety of fully unlocked certified pre-owned phones, tablets, and computers in different cosmetic and technical conditions. Device Condition Descriptions
- Brand New: Never used and in original packaging. No signs of wear or damage.
- Mint: Looks like new with no visible signs of use.
- Great: Gently used with barely noticeable minor wear.
- Good: Moderately used with some visible wear and tear.
- Fair: Heavily used with significant signs of wear.
- No Face ID / Touch ID: Devices in this category are always in good to fair cosmetic condition. The only defect is that the biometrics (Face ID or Touch ID) do not work, but everything else is tested and fully functional.
Our Grading Process
We evaluate our devices based on two key grading categories: Cosmetic Condition and Technical Condition. Each device undergoes a rigorous inspection and testing process to ensure it meets our high standards.
1. Cosmetic Condition
Graded from Mint, Great, Good, to Fair, our cosmetic grading takes into account every part of the device, including the screen, earpiece speaker, and camera lens. Each device is thoroughly inspected and evaluated based on a comprehensive 60+ point checklist.
- Mint: Like-new appearance with no visible scratches, scuffs, or marks.
- Great: Gently used with minor wear and tear, such as small scratches or scuffs.
- Good: Moderately used with some visible signs of wear, such as minor scratches or scuffs.
- Fair: Heavily used with significant signs of wear, including noticeable scratches or scuffs.
2. Technical Condition
Also graded from Mint, Great, Good, to Fair, our technical grading involves an in-depth inspection using both software and hardware tools. We assess various aspects such as battery health, liquid resistance, and structural integrity based on a 30+ point checklist.
- Mint: Perfect technical condition with no issues.
- Great: Fully functional with minor technical wear.
- Good: Fully functional with some technical wear.
- Fair: Fully functional with significant technical wear.
Lock Status

Sour Tech's 1-Year Limited Warranty Policy
We offer a 1-year limited warranty on all new and used devices. This warranty covers any technical defects, except for physical and/or liquid damage. The warranty is void if the device has been repaired or opened by any third party.
Free Return Shipping: We offer free return shipping on all warranty claims. Upon receiving the shipment, our technician will diagnose the device and determine the warranty outcome. If your device is under warranty, we will repair or replace it at no charge.
